My name is Gillian Meadowland, I am 24 years old and live in Munich.

My parents come from the island of Jorvik, where they met and fell in love. Both of them had ambitious career goals, which is why they moved to Munich. That’s where I was born, where I grew up, and where I worked for a large bank after completing my degree in business administration. My father received an attractive job offer from Canada, and shortly after my 21st birthday my parents emigrated there.

Now I was alone in Munich.

Well, I had a large circle of friends and acquaintances, but without my parents, I somehow felt lost.
